Average Market Corrections Since WWII

Morning all.

I found another interesting chart, to add to my post from last night about the record set with the 10% correction.

SP500 Corrections
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/27/heres-how-long-stock-market-corrections-last-and-how-bad-they-can-get.html

This one looks at all the market corrections since WWII, of which there has been 26, and calculate the average to be 13.7%.

The $SPX500 here on eToro is showing -12.24% for the week and so we’re already in the zone of this ‘average’ correction.

Question now is does it become an average correction or does it march on towards the official ‘bear market’ indicator of correcting by 20%?
